Spending recorded straight away is spending recorded right. Tap + in the middle of the bottom bar (on a computer, the Add expense button at the top, or the N key).
- Type the amount. On a computer or with a keyboard, shorthand works: 85k is 85,000, 1.5k is 1,500. On a phone’s number pad, the 000 key beside the amount adds three zeros.
- Add a description if you like (“Lunch”, “Taxi”) — it makes it easy to find later.
- Pick a category. None yet? Create one on Budgets.
- Tap Add expense. More to add? Tap Save & add another.
While you type, Fundi tells you what the expense leaves in its category — or how far it goes over. Feeling the weight before you save is the point.
Open Date, source, tags to pick another date, add tags, mark it as recurring, or (with Diamond) pay from an asset instead of this month's income.
Something you buy again and again (the morning coffee, parking)? Type what it was, pick the category and tap ♡ next to the description to keep it in Favourites. Next time it's at the top of the sheet: one tap adds it for today. Saved without an amount, a tap opens the form filled in so you only type the number. Basic keeps 5, Diamond 30 — tap All at the end of the row to edit, delete or reorder them.
Slipped? Tap Undo on the notice that appears and the expense is gone.
