Budgets lists your everyday spending categories — groceries, eating out, transport… — with what you've spent this month.
- Tap Add category (or tap a category to edit it).
- Fill in the Goal: what you try not to go past. The bar turns orange beyond it.
- Fill in the Max: the hard limit. The bar turns red beyond it.
A new month without budgets? The page offers to copy last month's, and you adjust from there.
Turn on Roll over to next month for a category and what's left this month is added to next month; overspend and next month shrinks.
Went over a maximum (or spent more than came in)? Tap Handle overspend beside it — on the dashboard or the category — and choose: take it off next month's limit, Cover it from an asset (Diamond), or Leave it. All of it or a part, until the first days of the next month; undo it from Move money.
Tap a category to see each expense, edit or delete it. On a phone, swipe a row left to delete it.
Not sure what to set? The Budget planner (Diamond) suggests a goal and a maximum per category from how much you want to save — never more than you've spent before.
