Fixed costs are the money that's spoken for before you spend anything. Enter them once on Fixed costs and they show up every month.
- Add a row: name, usual amount, Due day.
- Each month, tick Paid once it's paid.
- This month's bill is different (electricity, say)? Fill in Actual — only the month you're viewing changes.
No longer needed? Untick Active: the row greys out and stops counting; the months you paid stay as they were.
Installments: bought a phone or a laptop in instalments? Enter the total and the number of months. Each month adds one instalment to your fixed costs, and it stops by itself after the last.
Unpaid fixed costs appear under Needs attention on the dashboard, so nothing slips past its due date.
